Top Fleet has come a long way from its humble beginnings in April 1988. Initially with a work
force of just 2 men and the most of basic tools, the Top Fleet glass rack was born. The first
designs were welded steel box section that produces an amazingly strong racks. In fact there
are companies still using those systems to this day, 21yrs on! Aluminium was added to the mix in the early 1990's and steel was phased out.

The last 5yrs have been the most exciting for the company with the purchase of Fiat Ducato's &
Renault Masters to increase the rental and onsite fitting fleet. Safety testing through Ceram to
prove the actual capacity and strength of the design.

2008 saw the introduction of the 'Rack Protector System' which is a sophisticated moulded block
which is strong enough to secure the safety Marker Boards for the Pole system, yet, supple
enough to absorb a percentage of the impact in the event of a collision. The Rack protector also
encompasses a wrap around reflector for high visibility from the front, back and side of the
vehicle.

The future is looking good for Top Fleet with investment and advancement delivering the best

Efficient Fitting: The normal lead time for fitting is from only 5 days. As you can imagine this is a huge advantage, resulting in the vehicle will be fully equipped for its duties in the minimum time.

2 Hour Fitting Time: Our standard racking system, comprising of a pole or strap racking system with a half roof ladder rack, will be fitted with in 2 hours assuming all the fitting terms are adhered to. The fitting of accessories such as door ladders, internal racking and ply lining will take extra time.
